JOLINA FOR PARACETAMOL (CALPOL®)

Why Jolina Is Our #CalpolMakeNoMistake Mom

Jolina Magdangal-Escueta is an actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur, and former teen idol. However, her newest role yet is being a doting mother to 2-year-old son Pele—the biggest, most challenging endeavor she has been blessed with in her journey as a parent.

Like any other parent, Jolina admits to being very praning when it comes to caring for her child. This makes her the perfect #CalpolMakeNoMistake ambassador because she acknowledges that although no parent is perfect, you really should make no mistake when it comes to treating your child when he or she is sick. “As a first-time mom, I worry a lot about Pele, even on small things that moms with two or more kids will probably just shrug off. When I notice something unusual on Pele or if I am unsure about anything, nagtatanong talaga agad ako sa doctor ni Pele because she really knows what to do. Pwedeng may ma-advise sa‘kin ‘yung ibang parents but children are different and what works for one child may not be suitable for another. I want to make sure that my son is comfortable kaya I only trust my son’s pediatrician when it comes to anything related to Pele’s health.”

This is a common worry among Filipinos most especially because it is in our culture to follow our elders’ hearsay or traditional practices when it comes to treating a sick child. Jolina addresses this concern by encouraging her fellow moms to do the same as she—making sure her child gets only the best and the proper treatment when it comes to pain and fever management.

So to our #CalpolMakeNoMistake moms, join Jolina and Paracetamol (Calpol®) in their mission to educate the Filipino parent towards proper pain and fever care!
